Interesting research paper

Next Wednesday, May 16th, Professor Matt Shum of Johns Hopkins University will be the guest speaker for the GSB Marketing seminar. The title of his presentation is “How Much Competition is a Secondary Market?” (link to the accompanying paper below). I think it might be interesting to many people taking this class. The seminar is from 12:00 to 1:15 pm in Littlefiled 103.

More generally, the GSB marketing group consists of two tracks: one track is behavioral, where people (like me) do psychological research on consumer behavior, and the other track is quantitative, where researchers employ economic (including game-theoretical) models to understand market phenomena.

I hope you’ll find the paper interesting and worthwhile!

Thanks for the link! Did anyone go to see the paper? Any interesting notes to take away from it?
